Black Sun

Black Sun Empire is a Dutch drum and bass group formed in Utrecht, Netherlands, in 1997 by producers Rene Verdult and brothers Micha and Milan Heyboer. Since the late '90s they have built a name at the harder, heavier end of the genre, known for intense, dramatic neurofunk and darkstep. They are counted among the Netherlands' biggest drum and bass acts, with a discography and DJ sets that have shaped the genre's darker corners for decades.
