Horsepower Productions

Horsepower Productions are an English production outfit widely credited as pioneers of dubstep, their dub-inflected take on 2-step giving the genre its name. Originally a three-piece, the group is now led by producer Benny iLL as a two-man unit, with former member Nasis having moved into drum & bass. They released the albums To the Rescue in 2004 and Quest for the Sonic Bounty in 2010 on the Tempa label.
