Maverick Soul

Maverick Soul is the production alias of Gene Sumter, a New Haven, CT-based producer active in the east coast hip-hop and drum and bass scene for fifteen years. Working mainly behind the scenes, he spans drum and bass, soul hip-hop, neo soul, and future soul. Signed to EMCEE Recordings, he released the 11 Tracks of Soul Hip Hop Synergy LP.
