Ripley

Ripley is a DJ known for bass music that travels, pulling together sounds from cities where immigrant and diasporic communities carry music from home and set it against heavy low end. With ties to Philadelphia, New York, and San Francisco, they cofounded the crews SubVersion and Surya Dub, cofounded HEAVY, and are a member of Dutty Artz. Their sets range across tempos and genres, from azonto to dancehall, built on bass from everywhere.
