Aphrodite Recordings

Aphrodite Recordings is a UK drum and bass label founded in 1996 by DJ and producer Aphrodite, who had used the Aphrodite name since running parties at the University of Warwick in 1988. The label sits alongside Aphrodite's partnered imprints Urban Shakedown and Urban Takeover, the latter run with production partner Micky Finn. Since its inception it has been a fixture of the UK jungle and drum and bass scene.
