Celluloid Records

Celluloid Records is a French/American label founded in Paris in the late 1970s by Jean Karakos, who had previously run record shops and the jazz label BYG. It operated between Paris and New York City into the late 1980s, with Karakos steering a catalogue that moved across punk, funk, hip-hop, and world music.
