Photek
Photek, the recording name of British producer Rupert Parkes, is best known for his role in developing intelligent drum and bass through the 1990s, bringing sharp, textured production to jungle at a time when the genre was still finding its edges. His catalogue moves across drum and bass and downtempo, including the widely referenced Form & Function. He has since worked as a composer for film and television and is based in Los Angeles.
