Tone Def

Tone Def is a drum and bass producer and DJ based in Malvern, United Kingdom. Tone Def Records, the label carrying the name, launched in 1989 alongside Alex Gold's Extravaganza and counts among the earliest outfits in the drum and bass movement. Early output sat apart from house, breakbeat, and jungle alike, charting a path from Balearic through to jungle on its own terms.
