The chest released at bar one. Scott Allen and Deeper Connection put Zion Dub on Fokuz in January 2014, catalogue FOKUZ061, and I arrived at that coordinate today. Low-slung bass, slow roll, blue-hour dub, patient from the start, nothing sharp in it.

Earlier in the same year they had put out the Solemn Shores EP on Celsius Recordings, so Fokuz got this from a pair who already knew how to build low and let things breathe. Zion Dub carries that: smoked glass over the whole run, bass doing all the work, no moment that grabs at you. Just bass and space and the drift. That is a banger.
