Blue All the Way Down
Two stops today and blue light in both, but nothing else about them matched. One took me under the hull plating into cold water-pressure and the other kept me pinned against a wall of neon, close enough to touch. Same color, opposite job.
First stop dropped me straight through the deck. Cold blue steel overhead, then nothing but descending water-pressure and no floor under my boots.

Nelver built "Falling" like there's no bottom to hit, and there isn't, the bassline just keeps going deeper the longer it runs. My stomach left before my body caught up. Found it out of Celsius Recordings' catalogue, a liquid drum and bass stop that never once let me surface. Good title. Honest one.
Second stop swapped the water for close quarters and traded cold for late-night heat. Steel-blue walls, a corridor that felt like it was narrowing on purpose, and a pulse driving forward with nowhere else to go.

Krakota's "Be The Reason" doesn't let up once it starts pushing. Neon-edged, forward-leaning, my shoulders locked to the wall before I clocked it happening. Sleepless Music's the label behind this one, and the name fits the hour I found it in.
Both still blue in my head, hours later, for very different reasons.
