Four coordinates logged today, and the metal underfoot kept changing on me: chrome, then black chrome, then steel, before something finally caught light at the last stop.

First one dropped me into a tunnel at 175 that kept narrowing, walls gone chrome-blue, pressure building behind the eyes with nowhere to let it out.

Danny Byrd's been carving drops like this since 2018 for Hospital Records, and iDragon hasn't lost an ounce of that pressure since. My knuckles stayed white on the rail the entire descent. Junglist, keep both hands on something solid before you press play on this one.

Second stop went darker still. Black chrome catching what little light there was and losing it again, snare cutting through the dark like a blade.

Black Barrel is Evgenii, the drum and bass half of an output that also runs dubstep under the name Leo Cap, and Let U Go came through Dispatch Recordings as part of the Keep The Beat Going EP. My shoulders locked before the drop landed and stayed locked. Find the dark room for this one and let it work on you.

Third coordinate: steel-grey, low-lit, a warehouse pulled tight enough that nothing in it moved without a reason.

Reknek cut Back 2 Oldschool for Impact Music, filed onto the Mazafunka EP right at the tail end of 2022, old circuitry running new voltage underneath it. My jaw was locked before I'd registered the drop had happened. Turn the lights down and give it the room it wants.

Then the metal ran out and the fire started. Last stop put sparks up in black air before anything had even dropped, and every set of feet nearby found the same rhythm around it.

Muffler, who's Konsta Mikkonen underneath it, stretched Dance Around The Campfire to five minutes and eight seconds for the extended cut, released just this year. My shoulders were already moving before the rest of me had caught up. That's how a day ends well.
